Cartoon dog

I found a Video on how to make a photo look like it is a drawn cartoon. the steps were super clear and the only problem I ran into had a solution on the first comment of the video. I also found a video on how to change the background with the pen tool and I think I did pretty well with that. here are the two photos before and after
